Each wreath is thoughtfully created to complement your home and celebrate the changing seasons. We select botanicals that dry beautifully, helping each design remain attractive until it is time for the next seasonal exchange.

Materials with a story
Many of the flowers and botanicals used in our wreaths are grown in our own garden or harvested locally. We source additional natural materials from local suppliers whenever possible.
Our driftwood lamps feature wood found and sourced locally, while our sculptural pieces incorporate repurposed pocket-knife components, reclaimed wood, stone, and other salvaged materials.
Many of the canvases we use have also been repurposed to try to eliminate waste on our beautiful island.
Many Beetle & Bolt pieces are made to order, helping us avoid unnecessary overproduction. Suitable offcuts, wreath bases, and found materials are retained and reused in future creations where appropriate.
We also keep packaging minimal and use recyclable paper-based materials whenever possible.
As we work with natural, reclaimed, and repurposed materials, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Handcrafted by a husband-and-wife maker duo on Vancouver Island.
Beetle & Bolt began with a simple idea: to create pieces we would be proud to display in our own home.
What started as evenings spent creating after work soon became something friends and family wanted in their homes too. Their encouragement inspired us to share our work more widely.
Today, we create seasonal wreaths, driftwood lighting, sculptural metal art, and original paintings from our home on Vancouver Island.
We are drawn to pieces that feel natural, distinctive, and personal. Every creation is individually handcrafted, and every one carries its own character.

Pricing depends on the size, materials, design complexity, and time required to create each piece. Driftwood lighting starts at $250, while original artwork, Beasts & Blades creations, and other custom pieces are quoted individually. Can I choose between a round and crescent wreath?
Yes. Both round and crescent designs are available.
Round wreaths offer a classic, full appearance, while crescent wreaths have a more sculptural and asymmetrical look.
How does the Seasonal Wreath Collection work?
Our Seasonal Wreath Collection includes four custom handcrafted wreaths throughout the year, one for each season. Every wreath is uniquely designed to complement your home and aesthetic using botanicals selected to dry beautifully and extend the life of each piece. Within our service area, we deliver your new wreath and collect the previous season's wreath, making it easy to keep your front door looking fresh all year long.
Suitable wreath bases and materials may be repurposed in future designs where appropriate.
Do I receive the same wreaths as everyone else?
No. Every Beetle & Bolt wreath is custom designed. While each wreath reflects the beauty of the season, your design is created specifically for your home, style, and colour preferences. No two wreaths are exactly alike, and that's exactly how we believe handcrafted should be.
How long do fresh handcrafted wreaths last?
Our wreaths are thoughtfully designed using high-quality foliage and botanicals selected to dry beautifully, allowing you to enjoy them into the season. While longevity varies depending on the materials and display conditions, each wreath is created with lasting beauty in mind. We recommend displaying wreaths in a sheltered location away from heavy rain to help preserve their appearance.
What materials do you use?
Every Beetle & Bolt piece begins with carefully selected natural, reclaimed, or repurposed materials. Depending on the design and season, we work with flowers and botanicals grown in our own garden or harvested locally, as well as moss, driftwood, reclaimed wood, stone, metal, and repurposed pocket-knife components. Additional materials are sourced from local suppliers whenever possible.
As availability, texture, and form naturally vary, each handcrafted piece has its own character and no two designs are exactly alike.
Do you create custom pieces, and support for weddings, gifts, or special occasions?
Yes. We love creating meaningful pieces, and can support for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, housewarmings, memorials, and other special occasions. If you have an idea in mind, we'd be happy to work with you to create something uniquely yours.
How long will my order take?
Ready-made pieces are available immediately.
As every Beetle & Bolt piece is handcrafted, production times vary depending on the project and the season. We'll provide an estimated timeline when your order is confirmed and keep you updated throughout the process.
Do you offer pickup or delivery?
Yes. Pickup is available by arrangement for individual wreaths, driftwood lamps, sculptures, and artwork.
Delivery for individual pieces is available throughout Greater Victoria and selected surrounding communities for an additional fee based on location.
Seasonal Wreath Collection: Delivery for the Seasonal Wreath Collection is available in Langford, Colwood, View Royal, Metchosin, Highlands, Victoria, Esquimalt, Oak Bay, Saanich, and Central Saanich.
Seasonal delivery may also be available for a small additional fee to North Saanich, Sidney, Sooke, East Sooke, Otter Point, Shawnigan Lake, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, and other locations within approximately one hour of Langford. Availability and any applicable fee will be confirmed before your order is finalized.
